Air Compressor Technician is a 60-hour online, self-paced pathway divided into three courses. This pathway introduces learners to core concepts of air compressor technology and prepares them for further steps in a career as an air compressor technician. Course 3 is approximately 20 hours and focuses on electrical systems.
The pathway is aligned with SACA certification, and learners who successfully complete the pathway will have completed coursework for the SACA micro-credentials:
- Pneumatic Troubleshooting 1
- Electrical Systems 1
- Motor Control Troubleshooting 1
- Electric Motor Control Troubleshooting 1
The pathway does not provide SACA certification; learners who wish to become certified will need to complete one or more SACA exams.
